Single-arm dumbbell triceps extension. Barbell overhead triceps extension. In your workout: Do your extensions toward the second half of your workout, after heavier movements, for around 3 sets of 8-10 reps. Concentrate on getting a good stretch during the eccentric portion of the lift as you lower the weight.

Lie on a weight bench. Grip the barbell with your hand shoulder-width apart. Lift the bar off the rack and position it over your chest. Lower the barbell toward your chest while keeping your elbows by your sides. Press back up into the starting position. Repeat 10 times.

The best way to build the lower part of the triceps is by doing exercises that use continuous tension throughout the range of movement (cable with rope for example), or require max effort at the start of the ROM instead of at the peak contraction (arm angled such that beginning the ROM is the most vertical lift part of the movement), or by doing partial ROM's.

One of more known exercises for building triceps is the close grip bench press. This is no different from a regular bench press except you hold the grip of the bar about 6 inches apart. With your elbows locked, lower the bar just until it touches your chest and repeat again. It’s important to maintain good form when performing this exercise.

The Tate press also called the elbows out triceps extension, is a great lower triceps workout using dumbbells. It’s one of the best triceps exercises to do if you have elbow sensitivity and an alternative to skull crushers. You’ll need an incline bench for this as well as dumbbells.

Lying Triceps Extensions With EZ Curl Bar Lie down on a flat bench with an EZ curl bar at arm’s length. Your hands need to be about six inches apart to get the best effect on your triceps. Bend your arms at the elbows while keeping everything else tight and static, including your upper arms.

The amount of protein you need depends on a number of factors, including your weight, age, goals, and activity level. The daily minimum recommended by the National Institutes of Health is 0.36 grams per pound of body weight for a sedentary person.
For men: 10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) – 5 x age (y) + 5 (kcal / day) For women: 10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) – 5 x age (y) -161 (kcal / day) Then, this BMR count is multiplied, depending on your activity level: Sedentary = 1.2 Lightly active = 1.375 Moderately active = 1.550 Very active = 1.725 Extra active = 1.9
Extra active (Hard exercise/sports 6-7 days a week, plus physical job) Your calorie count should put you in a slight caloric deficit of around 200-700 calories. This can help you establish a consistent, sustainable pace of weight loss. Here are your next steps to lose weight: 1. Pick a weight-loss workout plan.
Eat 3-4 solid meals a day, each containing 20-40 grams of protein. If you're vegetarian, pair complementary proteins as often as possible to create complete proteins. Eat protein-rich snacks like nuts, jerky, or a smoothie or protein shake. Have a post-workout protein shake containing 20-40 grams of protein.
lose a few pounds. and you have some experience counting calories or tracking macros, select "lose weight." This will give you a carbohydrate target in line with 200-700 calories below maintenance, depending on your activity level, and a 40/40/20 macronutrient breakdown of carbs, protein, and fats.

Train like a bodybuilder: If you're looking to maximize muscle size, target 8-12 reps per set (on average) and choose multijoint movements like the bench press, squat, overhead press, bent-over row, and deadlift, which recruit more total muscle mass than single-joint moves, thus allowing you to lift heavier weights.
